Cash, jewellery and computers were stolen during a burglary at a house in Diss.

Detectives are appealing for information following the break-in that happened between 8.45am and 5.15pm on Saturday, May 26 at a house in Cobbold Street.

The offender smashed a glass pane in the back kitchen door to gain entry and stole a X-box 360 games console, Toshiba laptop, Technika 40inch flat screen TV, about �400 in cash, a gold ladies watch with white face and a gold pendant with a locket embossed with a flower on the front.

A gold coloured charm bracelet featuring about 20 charms including a church, horse, ice skating boot and numbers 18 and 21, was also stolen.

Officers are also investigating reports of a suspicious activity in Cobbold Street after an old-style gold Peugeot was seen parked in the area before driving off at speed.
