Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn may not be the most popular of politicians, according to the polls, but most people certainly know what he looks like.

And that could offer party activist Glenn Williams a new career as a lookalike.

The Labour party activist has repeatedly been mistaken for the Labour leader - including on a visit to Breckland Council on Thursday.

He was taking photographs of his friend, Thetford town councillor Mike Brindle, when UKIP councillor Mark Taylor, who represents Thetford Priory on the council, saw him and quipped: 'How did you get Jeremy Corbyn to take your pictures?'

Afterwards, Mr Williams said he had not taken any offence at the remark, although he is 10 years younger than Mr Corbyn. He revealed he had been mistaken for the Labour leader before in the supermarket. Mr Williams said: 'I have actually met Jeremy Corbyn, but no-one commented on the resemblance then.'
