A nursery owner was banned from driving for 18 months after being caught in his Jaguar while almost three times over the drink drive limit.
Christopher Tyler bumped into an old friend at a pub in Attleborough on August 12, and Norwich Magistrates' Court heard today he felt fine to drive.
But the 59-year-old was spotted by a police officer who saw him get into his silver Jaguar.
He was arrested after a breath test showed he had 91 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the limit is 35mcg.
Tyler of High Street, Wicklewood, near Wymondham, admitted driving above the alcohol limit.
