The inquest into the death of a retired bank teller from Wymondham has been opened and adjourned.
The body of Barbara Westfield, 60, was discovered by a refuse collector on a path outside her home in Beechcroft, on March 29.
Norfolk's assistant coroner Johanna Thompson opened the inquest in Norwich today and said the cause of death was currently unascertained.
She said police were continuing to investigate and evidence and was also being sought from medical practitioners.
The inquest was adjourned until October 19, when it will be held at the coroners court in Norwich.
