A post-mortem examination has been unable to determine the cause of death of a woman found dead in a Norfolk broad, a coroner said today.
The body of Lisa Pollini was found in Whitlingham Little Broad, near Norwich, on April 1 - two weeks after she was reported missing.
The inquest into her death was opened and adjourned by Norfolk coroner Jacqueline Lake this morning, who said that the 47-year-old, of Lobelia Lane, Cringleford, was formally identified by Insp Paul Rush of Norfolk Police.
The inquest heard that she was reported missing on March 18 and her body was discovered at Whitlingham Broad at 11.30am on April 1.
Mrs Lake said a post-mortem had been undertaken, but the 'cause of death is unascertained pending toxicology results.'
A car park, road and path to the broad were all cordoned off while an investigation took place and a dive team from Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service carried out a search of the water on Tuesday.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
