The inquest into the death of a former factory worker in Dereham has opened.
Norfolk Coroner's Court heard this morning that the body of Gordon Lloyd ,69, was found in a pond in Northall Green in Dereham by a member of the public on April 5 2017.
Mr Lloyd, who was born in Hackney, had been missing from his home in Wollaston Avenue in the town since March 1.
The medical cause of death was recorded as drowning and he was formally identified through dental records.
The inquest was adjourned to October 5, 2017, at Norfolk Coroner's Court in Norwich.
