An inquest has opened into the death of a 29-year-old man who died in a car crash in south Norfolk.

Luke Ware, a plumber from Foulden near Thetford, died when the 4x4 he was driving collided with an HGV in Foulden Road in Didlington on October 9 this year.

At an inquest opened into Mr Ware's death at Norfolk Coroner's Court in Norwich on Monday, Jacqueline Lake, senior coroner for Norfolk, said Mr Ware, who lived on School Road in Foulden, had been formally identified by his brother Samuel on October 15.

The medical cause of death was given as extensive chest injuries caused by a road traffic collision.
