An inquest has opened into the death of a man who was found on the beach in East Runton.
Stephen Foster, who was born in Peterborough February 1962, was found dead at 7.30am on January 11, 2015.
Mr Foster, of 108 Langley, Bretton in Peterborough, was taken to Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.
A pathologist at the hospital said the 'cause of death is drowning.'
The inquest will take place at Norfolk Coroner's Court on March 11.
