Inquest opened into the death of a Whissonsett man, who died in a garden accident

The inquest of a man who was found dead after a garden shed collapsed on him, opened in Norwich yesterday (Thursday).

Austin George Mitchell, 74, of Whissonsett, was helping a neighbour take down a garden shed when it collapsed on top of him on March 12.

Paramedics found him under the debris and tried to revive him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The inquest has been adjourned to a later date.
