An inquest has been opened into the death of a Sheringham woman who was hit by a train on the track at East Runton, near Cromer.
Susan Poore, 65, of Beeston Common, Sheringham, was pronounced dead on May 3 on the railway track close to Thain's Lane at East Runton.
Mrs Poore, a married woman, was reported missing that day and was believed to be hit by the train just before 1pm.
A postmortem examination was carried out and cause of death was multiple trauma due to collision with train.
The inquest, held at the coroners offices in Thorpe Road, Norwich today, was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
