An inquest has been opened after a 30-year-old man's body was found in a field in Mundesley.

Daniel Eggleton, of Cromer Road, Mundesley, was discovered at Gimingham Road in the village on October 5.

Norfolk coroner Jacqueline Lake said Mr Eggleton, who was a kennel hand, was born in Norwich on September 24, 1988.

His body was identified by his father Mark.

The cause of death was given as a fatal compression to the neck. The inquest was adjourned to January 9 next year.
