The inquest into the death of Christine Allen, of Marie Close, Cantley, was opened yesterday at Great Yarmouth Coroner's Court.
The remains of the former schoolteacher, who went missing aged 59 in 1995, were found on February 24 less than half a mile from her home. Norfolk Coroner William Armstrong said there were no suspicious circumstances. Mrs Allen had been diagnosed with a mental health condition in 1982 that may have been a factor. He said investigations into the circumstances of her death were taking place and adjourned the inquest to a future date.
