A man was helped out of his Dereham home through the window by emergency crews after falling and injuring his leg.
A fire and rescue crew was called to assist ambulance paramedics shortly after 10.30am at a residential property on Baxter Row, after the man, believed to be in his 60s, suffered a suspected broken leg.
An ambulance service spokesman said: 'He had suffered an arm and a leg injury and couldn't move, so they had to be taken out of the building through the window.
'The fire service was able to help us with the specialist equipment which they carry. It means the person's limbs could stay straight so they didn't have to be moved.'
Crews were on the scene for about an hour.
