Injured driver arrested after car crashes through Tunstead garden wall

A woman was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and taken to hospital after a car crashed through the garden wall of a home in Tunstead, near Wroxham, last night, Tuesday October 11.

The driver, believed to be in her 20s, was freed from the car by firefighters from Wroxham and Sprowston and treated at the scene by ambulance crew for neck and back pain.

She was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment. Her injuries are not thought to be serious.

The incident happened on Market Street shortly after 11pm when a blue Fiesta left the road and went through the wall.
