A craft business that started life on Swaffham's Friday market will develop into a toy shop when it takes over an empty town centre shop unit.
Swaffham couple Keith and Sandra Sandle will move into the premises left vacant when Neil's Card, opposite Asda in Lynn Street, closed last month after more than four decades.
The game-playing couple hope to open Henchman's in late June or early July. They said it will cater for customers aged from three to 103 with a range of games, toys, T-shirts, puzzles, collectibles and educational items.
Mrs Sandle, 45, started selling needle felt items at the market about two years ago, and said she had received a positive reaction when she told people about her plans for the new shop.
She said: 'I think Swaffham people are fed up with more food outlets and whenever something open up it's food or charity, so the fact we are independent and opening up is very positive.'
