The Hunstanton Lifeboat Station are asking parents to be watchful of their children on busy beaches during the warm weather.

Several children have been reported missing, but were found before a full scale search was started on the coast.

The station say the hovercraft was requested twice this week, once assisting with a 12-year-old girl who was last seen on beach at Hunstanton.

The volunteer crew launched at 6.15pm, searching along the tide line from the station towards Hunstanton, before being found safe and well.

The station is asking parents to be extra vigilant, keeping a close watch on their children, and to have a safe holiday.
