Hundreds turned out to celebrate a community orchard's blossom day with stalls, country dancing a dog show and live music.

Hunstanton's Le Strange Community Orchard now boasts more than 100 trees, including Norfolk heritage varieties of apple, pear and cherry tree.

Community orchard chair Kate Dunbar, who organised the event, said it was eventually hoped fruit would be donated to schools and old people's homes in the town.

The site, beside the town's community centre, also hosts a wildlife area, bird nesting boxes, a fruiting hedge and bug hotel. The first trees were planted seven years ago.
