It was fun all the way as hundreds of people enjoyed an afternoon of activities organised by members of Fakenham Baptist Community Church at the town's Millennium Park.

From inflatables to live music and magical mayhem to arts, there was something for everyone at the fun day on Saturday - and prayers were answered for the rain to stay away.

'We maybe forgot to pray about the wind though!' joked church minister the Rev Bob McKay and the gusts during the afternoon did force a couple of the marquees to have to be taken down.

Mr McKay said it was crucial for the church to be part of the community and on Thursday they had given out flowers and chocolates in the market and told people that God loved them.

'We don't want to be seen as a bunch of religious people. God loves us and he loves the community and the people of Fakenham and we want to show the people of Fakenham that love.'
