People in need of wheelchairs are to be given a boost by a Norwich electrical superstore - and drivers will be able to get their cars cleaned in the process.
Staff and volunteers at Hughes Electrical in Hall Road at taking part in The Great British Car Wash so the British Red Cross can buy wheelchairs for people in Norfolk.
The event, on Friday, October 19, will see staff and volunteers cleaning people's cars in return for a small fee, with all the proceeds going to the charity.
Louise Culyer, Hughes Electrical manager, said: 'We are really proud to be raising money for British Red Cross and to help them purchase wheelchairs to help people in Norwich and all over Norfolk.
'We are going to have a lot of fun and wash as many cars as we possibly can. Sweets and balloons will be available for children too.'
