Today has officially been the hottest day of the year.
As fans celebrate England's 2-0 World Cup quarter-final victory over Sweden and throngs of people take to the streets for the Lord Mayor's Celebration in Norwich, temperatures across the region have creeped above 30C.
Cavendish in Suffolk has seen the warmest weather, with tenperatures at 30.8C at its peak.
At Santon Downham highs of 29C were seen, while at the coast at Cromer the cooler sea air kept thermometers around 20.5C
