He may only be five years old, but already little Dizzie is setting tails a-wagging ahead of Christmas.

As one of nine black Labradors who reside in the village of Lammas, this cute canine is the face of AGA Cookshop's new festive range.

The scene captured on the textiles is Dizzie gazing longingly at the out of reach Christmas pudding resting on the lid of a simmering plate in all its glory. Dizzie is sitting beneath the mistletoe modelling a fetching bespoke red jumper.

That moment has been recreated for the AGA Cookshop Autumn Winter photoshoot with knitwear designer Sean Gleistein being commissioned to create the red Christmas jumper, made to fit Dizzie's exact measurements.

Following his fame, the pet pooch will be making an appearance at the village's Christmas Fayre on Sunday.

Chairman of the village hall committee Tim Curtis said: 'There are lots of different and interesting people here in Lammas and Dizzie is just another extraordinary thing which comes from it.

'It's really exciting for all of us to have him here to support the Christmas Fayre. He is a top dog.'

On the AGA Cookshop's website Dizzie is described as leading an 'idyllic rural life'. And when he is not sporting his fabulous festive jumper, he enjoys nothing more than jumping into the North Sea or the river Bure regardless of the season.

The range has been created by textile consultant and Dizzie's owner Jak Rayner and British artist Kate Mawdsley.

Lammas Christmas Fayre takes place on Sunday from 2pm. The Dizzie Christmas range will be on sale as well as other items and there will also be raffle. The event helps to raise money for the village hall.
