A 32-year-old woman was today airlifted to hospital with an arm injury after falling off a horse.
She was riding just outside Wells when she fell in a field.
The Anglia One air ambulance was called to help the woman because of the pain she was suffering and due to the distance to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
The crew landed at 8.56am and Dr Jeremy Mauger and critical care paramedic Andy Downes sedated her and administered pain relief before flying her to hospital.
Her condition on arrival was stable.
