Horse rescued after getting stuck in a dyke near Gorleston

A specialist fire crew was sent to rescue a horse which got stuck in a dyke near Gorleston.

An appliance from Gorleston fire station and an appliance and boat team from Carrow fire station in Norwich were mobilised to the scene this afternoon at around 3.45pm.

The horse managed to get itself out of bother without the assistance of the fire service so all crews were stood down.
