A store spokesman said: 'The store was very busy with Christmas shoppers and the customers were treated to some superb festive singing by talented students from Cantor academy choir.

'The live reindeer also proved to be particularly popular with the children. Many also delighted in meeting Father Christmas in his grotto while the adults took advantage of our houseplant gift-wrapping service and a Christmas raffle.'

Volunteers from the Lowestoft RNLI Lifeboat crew visited to add support to the event and joined in the yuletide spirit by selling mince pies and hot drinks.
