A charity runner is taking part in the Somewhere under the Sun 2017 event over two days to raise money for the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital's Jenny Lind and NICU departments.

Charley Haines, 30, from Holt, will be walking, running and cycling the 150 miles of the landlocked border of Norfolk on Saturday, September 23 and Sunday, September 24. She will start near Terrington St Clement and finish on the pier at Great Yarmouth.

She will be joined for the final mile by her cousin Laura Broughton whose daughter Eleanor-Mae spent 10 days in NICU due to low birth weight and needed tube feeding and treatment for jaundice. Eleanor-Mae's father, Matthew will join her earlier on the second day as a running partner.

Mrs Broughton said: 'Eleanor-Mae is now two-and-a-half but is still receiving support from the Jenny Lind department.'
