People hoping to contact Waveney and Suffolk Coastal District Councils through the joint East Suffolk Councils website are being met with a large emoji and an error message this morning.
The combined website of the two councils is currently down, meaning those hoping to access information through the site are unable to do so.
A spokesman for the councils however, said the website will be up and running soon and those looking to contact them can still do so via telephone - 01502 562111 - or email - customerservices@eastsuffolk.gov.uk.
The councils can also be contacted through social media, or in person at the Marine Centre on Lowestoft or Beccles Library. Planning applications can be accessed at this link, while benefits, council tax details and payments are accessible here.
