Delays were reported on the A12 in Blythburgh this morning (Friday) – after a herd of cows escaped onto the road.
Police were called at 5.05am to the A12, near the B1387 junction, following reports of cows having escaped a field onto the road.
Officers identified the farmer, and helped to return the cows to their field, after several attempts.
The herd caused delays on both lanes, until they were safely returned by about 7am.
