A school project to build a 'fantastic outdoor space' needs the public's help.

Stalham Infant and Preschool is bidding to bag a massive cash boost from the Tesco Bags of Help initiative.

Community groups and projects across the UK are being offered a share of revenue generated from the 5p bag levy and the public can vote at their local Tesco store, until August 31, on who should receive the £4,000, £2000, and £1000 awards.

The school's project, Millennium Garden and Class Room, has reached the finals, and would comprise a new storytelling area, a fire pit and a raised garden area to grow vegetables.

Year one teacher Jen Armstrong, who organized the 'Green Team' with reception teacher Angela Dexter, said: 'We hope our community will support our project and help us get the grant so the children can have a fantastic outdoor space.
