A Hellesdon man died following injuries suffered in a care home fall, an inquest heard.
Philip Edward Johnson, 87, of Drayton Wood Road, Hellesdon, died at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on Saturday. An inquest opening in Norwich yesterday heard he had been admitted on Friday for treatment for the fracture and left lower lobe pneumonia.
Norfolk coroner William Armstrong said the cause of death was a fracture caused by a fall, with dementia, Alzheimer's and prostate cancer as contributory factors. The inquest was adjourned to a later date.
