World heavyweight champion boxer Tyson Fury will get a breath of seaside air when he visits Gorleston next month.

The boxer, who recently vacated the WBA, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles, will make an exclusive appearance at the Ocean Rooms, where he will meet and greet fans.

Mr Fury will also take part in a question and answers session at the event, where he will speak candidly about his career, life and the sport.

Event promotor Leon Docwra said: 'This event is something Tyson really wants to do. He is at the top of the sport and there is a lot of pressure on him, so he is really looking forward to being in a positive atmosphere with a good group of people, which we always have at these events.

'He will have a lot to say, both about his past, and what the future has in store for him as well.'

The evening provides a rare opportunity to get to know the heavyweight, who is undefeated in 25 professional bouts.

Mr Docwra added: 'Tyson wants to take a break from boxing and this event is just what he needs - he will have the chance to be around people who really respect him and his achievements, and I'm sure he will get a huge reception.

'It's a really big deal for the borough to have him here - he is the true world champion in my eyes, and he's coming here.'

The event will also feature a performance from singer Laura Ashton, a memorabilia auction and a three-course meal, as well as photograph opportunities with the boxer.

Tickets for the event on Thursday, November 24, must be booked in advance and cost £100.
