Drinkaware, the UK's leading alcohol education charity, provided free information and advice on alcohol in Norwich.
The event, which took place at Asda, Drayton High Road, on Friday gave customers the opportunity to access friendly advice and ask questions.
Chloe Smith, MP for Norwich North, also attended. She said: 'January is often a time where people think about their health. For everyone doing Dry January or thinking about drinking less, I would encourage them to take advantage of the information and support that Drinkaware offer.'
Participants were encouraged to complete a quick alcohol assessment using Drinkaware scratch cards and were able to take home a free alcohol unit measuring cup and calorie wheel.
Specific help for parents on how to speak to their kids about alcohol and how to answer the difficult questions that children can ask was also provided.
