A combined total of 16 stone lost between four male slimmers

A happier and healthier 2018 is in store for four men who have improved their health.

They all attended their local Slimming World groups in and around Norwich. Since joining they have lost a combined total of 16 stone.

Mike Gibbs, 80 joined his local group in Bowthorpe originally to support his wife. He has lost 4 stone 9lbs and is now a healthy weight.

Ceri Theobald, 43 attended the Costessey group. He was a long-term diabetic and joined his local Slimming World group to see if he could shed a few pounds. Since joining he is completely off his diabetic medication and has lost 3 stone 7lbs.

Jim Emmerson, 63 joined his local group in Bowthorpe. He had type two diabetes and was recommended by his GP to join Slimming World. With the help of his team, Mr Emmerson has lost 4 stone 7 lbs and now takes no diabetic medication. He is now living his life to the full enjoying being much happier, healthier and medication free.

Mark Cordy, 52 attended his local group at Easton.

When he joined he knew that his weight was affecting him and wanted to enjoy his 50’s as well as supporting his wife in her journey to a happier healthier life. After shedding a few pounds he treated himself to a new bike and has now participated in two charity cycle rides of over 100 miles each.

He has lost 3 stone 5lbs.
