The opening of England’s only custom made sensory integration clinic room was celebrated with an open day near Norwich.
Around 100 professionals and families visited the Norwich based SenSI on Friday, April 27 at Richmond Lodge in Mulbarton.
SenSI provides comprehensive assessments and treatment for children and adolescents suffering from Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) to assist their participation in everyday life activities. The room was custom built and designed specifically to the clinic’s requirements.
Sensory Integration Therapy is carried out in facilities carefully designed so children feel relaxed, at home and playful at all times throughout every session.
Annie Doubleday and Emma Jerman, directors of SenSI, plus their team of 16 therapists were also able to showcase their other clinic facilities, including Aquatic Sensory Integration sessions in the hydrotherapy pool.
