Take action this week and make time to visit one of the events planned for Dementia Action Week in Norfolk.

All week

Slow Theatre Company exhibition at Wymondham Library

A successful exhibition of work that was created by the Slow Theatre Company and users of the Wymondham Dementia Support Group Pabulum Cafe will be returning to Wymondham Library for Dementia Action Week.

The project highlighted the life of local carers of people living with dementia and culminated in a large exhibition at the Millennium Library last year, and included a sculpture of two large hands, covered in 18,000 forget-me-not flowers, representing every person that lived with dementia at that time.

Alongside this, there will be diary entries from carers and people living with dementia, art works by members of the Pabulum Cafe and a poetry reading by cafe poetry club members.

On May 25 at 12.15pm, the 18,000 flowers from this sculpture will be dismantled and made into pins, to sell for a recommended donation of £1, all towards local Admiral Nurses.
