Labour and trade union campaigners will be out in King's Lynn to celebrate the 70th Birthday of the NHS tomorrow.
Eastern Region Labour MEP, Alex Mayer, will be kicking off the celebrations with birthday cards and a cake.
The campaigners will be outside the former Topshop from 1pm until 3pm speaking to shoppers and passers by, asking them why they love the NHS.
Local Labour secretary Jo Rust said: 'Everyone has a good news story about the NHS they'd like to share. I know it not only saved my life, but that of my dad and father in law so I've got a lot to be grateful for.
'Others will have similar stories. We know the NHS has been starved of funds for too long, but those hard working nurses, health care assistants, cleaners, porters and clerical and admin staff, all work so hard to deliver a service under difficult circumstances.'
