Archant Norfolk 2015

Patients in North Norfolk and rural Broadland are set to be the first in the county to benefit from improved access to local GP services through a new pilot project.

An alliance of GP practices operating across the area is exploring options for extending practice hours into evenings and weekends and providing patients with increased access to a range of healthcare professionals.

The North Norfolk Primary Care alliance is working with Healthwatch Norfolk to understand exactly what residents would like to see from the new-look service.

Hundreds of people have shared their views through a survey and patients and carers are now invited to join a discussion group at The ACT Centre in Aylsham, from 9.30am to 12pm on Wednesday, April 18.

Free tea, coffee and cake will be provided and travel expenses can be reimbursed.

To book your free place go to norfolkgpaccess.eventbrite.co.uk or call Healthwatch Norfolk on 0808 168 9669.
