Breath tests, blood tests and BMI tests were carried out in the Forum as part of a Healthier Fair showing people the range of NCH&C's services.
Stalls showed people how to find out their 'lung age' to be aware of chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD) and take part in a clean hands demonstration, showing effective hand-cleaning techniques.
Trust staff were also on hand at the fair, which was opened by Lord Mayor Ralph Gayton, to offer advice on everything from speech therapy to healthcare for the homeless, and refer people on to further services.
