Visitors are being invited to find out what it is like to have eye diseases at a 'fun day out for all the family' at Cromer Hospital.

It will also include a chance to 'organise your organs', identify moles and guess the objects through a cystoscope.

The hospital is pictured here in before and after shots.

Aerial photographer Mike Page took the 'then' shot of the old hospital in 2009, showing the extent of the complex in its later years.

He returned earlier this month to get the 'now' photograph, which shows the new 15m building at the back of the site, plus the car park, which was completed in the summer.

The new hospital, which accepted its first patients in March, was funded largely by a legacy from Cromer resident Sagle Bernstein. It has taken well over a decade to get from the drawing board to completion.

The hospital is hosting the open day on Saturday October 20 from 11am to 4pm. It will include:

? Visit dermatology and guess the mole

? Organise your organs - place your organs in the right location

? Dress in hospital scrubs and play a life-size operation game

? Visit ophthalmology and find out what its like to have a cataract and other eye diseases

? Guess the objects through a cystoscope

? Have a go at 'glo and tell' and see how good you are at washing your hands.

The hospital is on Mill Road in Cromer. Parking will be free of charge on the day. Call 01603 646262 or visit www.nnuh.nhs.uk
