Norfolk and Waveney Sustainability and Transformation Partnership

Norfolk and Waveney Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) has appointed Melanie Craig as its interim executive lead.

Ms Craig, who is chief officer at NHS Great Yarmouth and Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will now lead the STP alongside her role within the CCG.

The STP is a partnership of local health and social care organisations, which strives to make services more sustainable while continuing to meet growing demand.

This will be achieved by focusing more on preventing ill health, as well as looking after more people at home or within the community so that fewer need a hospital bed.

She said: “I am delighted to have been appointed to this role and look forward to leading the next stage for our STP and CCG so that we can transform services and provide even better care for people in Norfolk and Waveney.
