A person was taken to hospital in a serious condition after collapsing in part of the Jarrold department store in Norwich.

The East of England Ambulance Service received a call at 2.30pm after reports that a person had collapsed.

They sent two ambulance crews and the East Anglian Air Ambulance critical care car to the scene and were joined by the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service.

One patient was taken by ambulance to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and was accompanied by the critical care team.

They are believed to be in a serious condition.
