Businesses in Diss are raising funds to install an additional life-saving defibrillator in the town.
As part of their continued support for nominated charity Diss First Responders, Diss Business Forum members want to purchase a new defibrillator for a location that will reduce the distance between existing public machines.

Rachel Hillier, from Diss First Responders, said: "With our area being over 25 miles from any hospital and our ambulance service having to cover major distances on mostly single carriageway roads, having defibrillators easily accessible to the public is of vital importance in a medical emergency where the first few minutes are of vital importance in maintaining life."
DBF Chair Leigh Thurston said: "This new defibrillator could literally be the difference between life and death. We want our members to be a real part of our fundraising efforts and help us to raise the money at dedicated fundraising events."
More information about the appeal and specific fundraising events will be available at the Diss Business Forum website dbf.org.uk as well as an up-to-date total of the money raised.
