Cancer patients and their family members or carers, are invited to attend an interactive herb and nutrition workshop, to discover how creating meals and snacks can help towards a healthier lifestyle.

Hosted by Norfolk cancer charity, Big C, at their support and information centres around Norfolk, the workshops will have the theme 'sustain'.

Medical herbalist, Alex Hobbs and nutritional therapist, Catherine Jeans, will show recipes for breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks and drinks which are nourishing and nutritious to help boost energy levels.

This is the fifth year the pair have been run workshops for Big C, which have been attended by over 100 people during that time.

Ms Jeans said: 'The workshops are a great support for people affected by cancer, and enable those who attend to learn simple and practical ways to enhance their nutrition, learn more about simple herbal remedies that can be used at home, at the same time enjoying some delicious food in a relaxing environment.
