Latched On, a new breastfeeding café and clinic, opens in Holt on Wednesday, November 1, and aims to meet the lack of services in north Norfolk.

It's offering free sessions every Wednesday, from 10am to 12, with teas and coffees. Each session will be led by a qualified lactation consultant, supported by professionals.

Running costs for the first year of the café (rent, props and refreshments) are around £1780, and £570 has been raised, £370 from a fundraiser jumble and cake sale and £200 via their Just Giving page.

The café will be held in the adult day care centre on Charles Road and will be voluntarily run by lactation consultant, Florence Crawley, early years practitioner, Joanna Hutchinson and project administrator, Ella Brenchley. The sessions will be in the Willow Room.

You can donate to the project by either dropping a cheque or cash into the clinic or online at www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/latchedon
