An alcohol awareness roadshow is doing a tour of north Norfolk supermarkets next week.

The Junction, the Matthew Project's north Norfolk team based at Cromer, is launching its own local initiative to run alongside national Alcohol Awareness Week which is November 19-25.

Team manager Andy Wicks said: 'Our aim is to visit some of North Norfolk's busiest towns over the course of the week and provide advice, support and information for people around alcohol consumption.'

He thanked local supermakets for supporting the initiative.

The roadshow schedule, with sessions from 10am to 3pm, is: Monday November 19, Cromer Morrisons; Tuesday, Fakenham Tesco; Wednesday, Stalham Tesco; Thursday, North Walsham Sainsbury's; and Friday, Hoveton Roys of Wroxham.

The Junction also provides an advice centre and counselling drop-in services to help people with concerns about their own substance misuse, or that of a family member. They run in Cromer, Fakenham and North Walsham.
