Two cars have been involved in a head-on crash just outside Norwich city centre.
The accident between a blue and a silver car happened near the medical centre in Old Palace Road, off Dereham Road, just after 7pm.
Police, ambulance and the fire brigade were sent to the scene.
One fire engine from Spowston attended the accident and gave casualty care, helped assist the ambulance service and made the surrounding area safe.
One person was taken by ambulance to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
Details of the injuries are currently unknown.
