A free Start Your Own Business workshop is being offered at Harleston Information Plus on Tuesday, July 24, 10am-midday.
Harleston Jobs Club has seen an increasing number of jobseekers looking to go self-employed but struggling to find the support they need.
So, jobs club co-ordinator Lucy Marjoram has teamed up with former Business Link adviser Fiona Lascelles to offer business support in Harleston. Fiona used to attend the jobs club on a monthly basis to offer free one-to-one support, but the club lost this service when Business Link restructured last year and offered advice solely online.
Lucy said: 'There is a lot of advice available online but we have found that our jobs club members prefer to receive advice and support face to face, being able to draw on expert experience and knowledge.'
