A Norfolk cat narrowly avoided losing one of its nine lives today - after firefighters were forced to rescue it from a roof.

The fire service sent a crew from Acle to Old Road in Acle to help an RSPCA inspector rescue the feline.

They used a ladder to give the Inspector access to rescue the cat and it was quickly brought back down to safety.
