Handbag and purse stolen from house in Diss

A purse containing about £100 has been stolen from a house following a suspected walk-in burglary in Egremont Road in Diss.

It happened between 11.15am on Wednesday, March 23 and 10.30am on Thursday, March 24.

The suspect or suspects entered the house through an insecure front door and stole a black handbag and purse which contained about £100 in cash.

Police are urging residents to be vigilant following the burglary.
