Volunteers from six of Fenland's Street Pride and In Bloom groups are planning litter picks on the first weekend in March in support of Keep Britain Tidy's Great British Spring Clean campaign.
On Friday, March 3, the March Street Pride and In Bloom group are teaming up with staff from Amey for a joint event that may also involve workers from Tesco. They will be meeting at the George Campbell Centre at 10am.
On the same day Wisbech Street Pride will meet at the Hudson Centre at 10am, with some Tesco staff hoping to join them, too.
And members of Waterlees In Bloom Street Pride will gather at the Oasis Centre at 1pm, with extra support being provided by children from Orchards Primary School and Circle Roddons staff.
Saturday, March 4 will see four more events scheduled by existing or would-be Street Pride and In Bloom groups in Manea, Chatteris, Tydd St Giles and Doddington.
