Sun seekers flying from Norwich will now be able to add the Greek island of Rhodes to their list of holiday destinations.
Thomson and First Choice have launched the first flight to Rhodes from Norwich Airport for anyone heading to the sunny island for the summer.
The decision to introduce the new route is part of the holiday companies' plans to ensure that people from across the UK can fly from their local airport to some of the most exciting locations.
Rhodes is considered to be one of the most popular Greek islands. It is the largest of Greece's Dodecanese islands and is known for its beach resorts and ancient ruins.
Managing director of Norwich Airport, Richard Pace, said: 'We are delighted that Thomson and First Choice have launched a new route to Rhodes. It demonstrates the holiday company's commitment to the airport and provides even more choice to local people.'
